Hello, I am looking for help prepping for medical school interviews. This career path is very competitive, and I want to take advantage of every opportunity when selected for an onsite interview.
Two aspects of interviews that applicants are often unprepared for: 1. questions about ethical decision-making and 2. demonstrating an understanding of that particular medical school's mission and focus.

If I enroll in Middlesex Dubai for my first year, can I later transfer to London and will all my credits transfer with me? If I enroll in Middlesex Dubai for my first year, can I later transfer to London and will all my credits transfer with me?

Not every programme is taught at all campuses, so this is something to note before applying for a transfer. You can check our programmes taught in Lon... more

I can help but I'm probably not the best person to help. I would get in touch with someone who specializes in placing students after a break in their education. I'm assuming you mean he didn't complete his sophomore year in high school, not college - correct?
You can e-mail me directly at evelyn@magellancounseling.com.
I would actually recommend, though, that you get in touch with Loren Grossman. You can reach her at lrg@ix.netcom.com.
Best of luck!

Hello. Can you recommend one or several resources (book and/or website) for a California student finishing up her second year of community college this spring who wishes to transfer to a 4-year college or university? (Her ACT and SAT scores are low but she has a 3.4 GPA)
There is an excellent site for planning transferring to the UC and CSU systems. The deadlines for Fall 2019 are mostly past for both UC and CSU for transfers, however.

www.assist.org Shows transferable coursework from CA CC students to the CSU or UC campuses. Also shows recommended and/or required coursework for transferring to specific majors.
For transfering to private schools or out-of-state (non-CA) public schools, there is not a similar go-to recommendation for sites, so the best place to look is always the college's transfer admissions website.
Transfer students sometimes need to submit test scores, sometimes not. The UC and CSUs do not consider test scores for transfer admission.

It would confirm a genuine sample of written work. As a result, the need to discuss the grading between admissions and the teacher is irrelevant and unnecessary.
