How is COVID affecting the Foundation for Teaching Economics plans for 2021?

For 2021, FTE is planning a full summer schedule of the Economics for Leaders, Economic Forces in American History, and Entrepreneurship in the Global Economy programs. The uncertainty, caused by COVID, is how many programs will be in-person vs virtual. FTE will open up student applications the second week of December for those universities indicating they will host in-person summer programs and for our virtual courses.

There are a couple universities that will not make decisions regarding in-person programming until next January or early February. Because of this, we are moving back deadlines by two or three weeks for 2021.

We will be flexible and are confident that we can offer quality programming at a reasonable price whether in-person or online. Of course, we will follow all COVID-19 guidelines/recommendations of local, state, and university officials for programs offered in-person.
