Biography

Patti earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from Concordia University Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Engineering school. She is active in the Hawaii Association of College Admissions Counseling (HACAC) and is the Hawaii community rep for the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA). She has been working as a specialist in college admissions consulting for six years and has received certification from two national organizations, the National Board for Certified Counselors (NCC) and the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners (CEP).

Her dedication to research, college visits, and continued professional training allows her to quickly find answers to student’s questions. Her philosophy for counseling is based on positive psychology – using student’s strengths to help them overcome obstacles and find their passion. Many families report there is less stress involved as Patti guides their son or daughter through the college application process.

She works with clients through email, phone conferences, FaceTime and Skype.
